This is an augmented reality app whose trigger is a promotional card for the Nostalgia Project. The overlay is a video of a Nostalgia Project performance at Imagine RIT. A single tap on the url printed on the trigger will take you to the Nostalgia Project website, where you can participate in the project. A double tap on your mobile device will enlarge the video to full screen releasing you from the trigger. This is a skinned app created with Aurasma.
The Nostalgia Project is a collaborative work between musicians, artists, computer scientists, and the general public. It draws upon web-based photo sharing, text messaging, and musical performance to explore the notion of nostalgia, merging the visual image with music both responding to and affecting the other.
